2011 Benchmark Program
About
The Mustang Baseball Benchmark Program is similar to a tryout or showcase event in that it offers the coaching staff the chance to assess talents in various areas. Unlike the typical tryout though, the Benchmark Program gives you the opportunity to learn about Mount Mercy University and its baseball program in as much detail as you want.
The Mustang Benchmark Program, will include: field hitting (video); mound bullpen for pitchers (with radar and video); fielding and throwing for position players (with radar); running and agility tests (home to first, 5-10-5 shuttle, etc.); athletic desire index; Spiegel test; and a results chart for each player.

Time: 11:00 am - 1:30 pm (watch Mount Mercy practice before)
Location: Ken Charipar Field (Xavier High School)
Attire: All participants must wear baseball pants and hat.
Cost: $25 or $10 if enrolled in Fall Baseball League
